Abandoned mining country, and our final stop in South Africa
We were staying in Concordia. An old mining region just outside of Springbok.All sorts of cool abandoned structures and remnants of former years.It was also our first real introduction to desert.
Also, a sign of things to come in Namibia…Our accommodation was entirely off the grid, so relied on a combination of solar and wind generated power.That patch of green? The boundary of the homestead we were staying at. An oasis of green in the middle of desert.
